SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTER IN KALUGA

The project proposal consisted of sports and entertainment center with a restaurant part at the shore of the Yachensky reservoir in Kaluga. Due to the difference in the ground levels from the sidewalk towards the waterfront, the volume of the building is almost invisible from the sidewalk and harmoniously fits into the existing landscape. The green roof of the building has a wave-like shape and is used as a second level sidewalk and an open-air café. Access to the roof is also available from the outside by the outdoor staircase. The project also provided a proposal for the landscape design of the territory with a possible further development of the complex as a hotel.
