Design Concept
The project consists of 15 modular 9×9 m units arranged in a large triangular plan, evoking a soaring bird or Icelandic dragon. Each module is covered by a parametric metal mesh roof supported by four corner columns. The hyperboloid “scale-like” roofs are finished with anthracite slate tiles.

Sacred Proportions
All dimensions—from height to window sizes—follow the golden ratio and derive from the 9 m grid. The exterior uses deep gray and black tones.

Function & Layout
The building includes three main zones:

Cinema hall and lobby

Exhibition pavilion

Café with kitchen and dining
Service spaces (WC, storage, offices) are grouped in the far left corner. All areas are linked by a covered atrium and winter garden.

Lighting Strategy
Triangular zenith windows formed by the “scaly” roof bring soft, diffused daylight into the interior. This passive-solar lighting reduces glare and creates an unusual light–shadow atmosphere reminiscent of “winged dragons.”

Materials
Roofs use natural slate tiles. Perimeter blocks drain outward, while inner blocks use internal drainage with optional rainwater collection for patio irrigation. Facades are ventilated and clad in aluminum panels. Interiors are light-toned, with cork flooring and furniture in main areas, and vinyl for entrances, kitchen, WC, and technical rooms.

Site Plan & Exterior
The building is placed toward the northern rocky slope, leaving an open southern courtyard for views and outdoor events. Dragon-egg-shaped furniture reinforces the cinematic theme. A golden-ratio sinusoidal water feature with a wide promenade leads to a fire-pit seating area for gatherings.
