This comprehensive reconstruction project transforms an 895 m² residential estate in Obraztsovo village, preserving the mansion’s traditional architectural character while thoughtfully integrating contemporary functionality. The design approach balances heritage aesthetics with modern living requirements, ensuring that the renovated residence remains both timeless and fully suited to present-day standards.
The architectural expression is defined by classic gabled roof forms clad in rich chocolate-brown tiles, creating a striking contrast against the cream-colored exterior walls. Multiple chimney stacks, varied roof heights, and layered volumes enrich the silhouette, lending the building a sense of depth and compositional complexity. Traditional wooden balconies with decorative railings reinforce the mansion’s authentic character, while large multi-pane windows bring abundant natural light into the interior and strengthen the visual connection with the landscape.
Throughout the facade, the interplay of materials and forms establishes a rhythmic yet unified composition. The project preserves the recognizable language of regional architecture while subtly updating it through refined detailing and improved spatial clarity.
Sustainability plays an important role in the reconstruction. Solar panels are discreetly integrated into the roofscape, demonstrating environmental responsibility without compromising the classical architectural vocabulary. Energy-efficient systems and improved building performance standards align the residence with contemporary expectations while honoring its historical identity.
The expansive landscaped grounds create an appropriate and dignified setting for the restored mansion. Careful preservation of mature trees maintains the natural character of the site and reinforces ecological continuity. The building’s orientation and placement optimize privacy while preserving strong visual and physical connections to the surrounding landscape.
A carefully curated material palette underscores the project’s commitment to quality and longevity. Natural stone foundation elements anchor the house within its environment, while durable exterior finishes ensure resistance to weathering. Each material selection reflects regional architectural traditions while meeting the demands of modern construction performance.
Overall, the reconstruction achieves a nuanced harmony between heritage and innovation, breathing new life into a traditional estate while maintaining its architectural soul.
