Novoperedelkino Station is a part of the Moscow Metropolitan. Designers of this project created a catchy visual image of alternating portal-pavilions. The entrance to the metro and the bus stops are combined into a single covered pavilion faced with a metal membrane. Colour differentiation of the pavilions serves as the leading organisation of the passenger traffic. To create a single covered pavilion, which unites stairs and elevator hall, spatial structure system was applied.
The planes of columns and their slopes painted with different colours attract passengers’ attention and indicate opposite directions, from station to centre and vice versa. There are also built-in linear lamps in the columns’ slopes, which are emphasising the geometry of the construction.
