The Najarian Social Entrepreneurship Center is a contemporary three-story public facility located in Yerevan’s Dzoragyugh district, near the Sergei Parajanov Museum and just north of Victory Bridge. Designed as a hub for social innovation and community development, the 1,350 m² building brings together modern architectural design and functional, accessible spaces tailored to diverse users.
The L-shaped layout responds directly to the urban context, site constraints, and surrounding neighborhood fabric, ensuring both architectural coherence and efficient circulation. The building employs a hybrid structural system: traditional stone masonry and monolithic reinforced concrete form the main structural body, while the upper levels utilize a lightweight steel-frame construction. This combination enhances structural flexibility, material efficiency, and long-term adaptability – key principles of sustainable architecture in Armenia.
Universal accessibility was a defining element of the design. The center features a rear elevator, fully compliant evacuation routes on every floor, and barrier-free interior planning, ensuring inclusive access for all users, including individuals with disabilities.
Advanced engineering systems support the center’s performance and safety. The facility includes modern water supply, sewage, electrical, heating, and ventilation systems, as well as low-voltage networks and an integrated fire alarm system. All components meet current Armenian construction standards and technical regulations, ensuring reliability and long-term operational efficiency.
