Ithaka Arrives in Spain: Expanding Our International Presence
Ithaka Architecture & Design Studio is an international practice operating across Europe, the United States, Armenia, and Russia, with a focus on high-end residential, hospitality, and complex mixed-use developments. The studio combines architectural design, interiors, and project coordination with a strong emphasis on innovation, material intelligence, and contemporary aesthetics.
Over the years, Ithaka has contributed to more than 500,000 m² of designed and realized spaces, ranging from large-scale urban developments to finely detailed private residences. Its portfolio includes over 30 restaurants, dozens of private villas, and multiple public and commercial projects.
Among its notable international collaborations is the Skolkovo hotel complex in Moscow, developed in collaboration with renowned starchitect David Adjaye. The studio’s work reflects a global design language shaped by cross-cultural experience and advanced digital methodologies.

One of the studio’s landmark achievements is the development of the first parametric aluminum-glass dome in Yerevan, positioned along the city’s North-South axis. This project represents a milestone in regional architecture, introducing advanced computational design and fabrication techniques at an urban scale.
In recent years, Ithaka has expanded its presence in the United States, working on post-fire reconstruction projects in Malibu, Los Angeles, including oceanfront villas, as well as residential developments in Miami Beach. The studio is currently active in Spain, continuing to develop projects that integrate climate-responsive design with high-quality construction and refined spatial concepts. Currently focusing on Tenerife and the wider Canary Islands, as well as Madrid, Valencia, and other cities, Ithaka studio is expanding in Spain.
